Three people who went down a well on Sunday to repair a water pump died of suffocation, while another man was admitted to hospital in critical condition, police said.
Mulayam Dangi, Hari Ram Vishwakarma and Halke Dangi went to repair the pump in Banda village in Tikamgarh district. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
Superintendent of Police Nimish Agarwal told media persons that another man, who had accompanied the three, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
