Three die while cleaning sewage tank in UP

Three people died after inhaling toxic gas emitted during the cleaning of a sewage tank in Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ashram in this holy town in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as temple priest Tulsi Das and workers Ravi and Kala Chandra. Their bodies were sent to Mathura district hospital for post-mortem.

The bereaved family members and local community leaders demanded an inquiry into the mishap and compensation to the the next of kin.
