Two village boys and a woman were crushed to death by unidentified vehicles early Saturday on the Yamuna Expressway.
There is a fatal accident on this highway that connects Greater Noida with Agra almost daily.
Police said the two boys from Nadau village in Khandauli block of Agra were practising long-distance running to qualify for police recruitment when they were crushed by a vehicle.
Suraj died on the spot while his friend Sandeep was declared brought dead by doctors at an Agra hospital.
The woman who was waiting for a bus was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died on the spot, police said.
Angry villagers blocked traffic for several hours until police teams reached the accident site and persuaded them to lift the blockade.
