At least three people were killed and six injured on Saturday when a suspect blew himself up during a raid at his residence in Lebanon's Deir Ammar region, the media reported.
The suspect Mohammed Hamza blew himself up, killing his mother and niece along with himself, Xinhua quoted the report as saying.
His sister Safa Hamza and five soldiers were injured in the attack.
Media reports said Hamza was a follower of local extremist Osama Mansour, one of Lebanon's most notorious jihadi fighters, who was shot dead by security forces in Tripoli city in April.
