Three people died in sleep when a wall of a building collapsed on them in Jharkhand's Godda district, police said Sunday.
According to the police, the three people were carrying coal on their bicycles when they Saturday night reached Lengradih village of Godda district, about 400 km from the state capital Ranchi.
They parked their bicycles laden with coal sacks, leaning against the wall of a government building and went to sleep.
Unable to support the weight of the coal-laden bicycles, the wall collapsed on the three people, who died on the spot.
Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
