Three killed in Rajouri blast

Three people were killed and one injured on Saturday in an explosion at a forest area near the line of control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Police said three civilians were killed and another injured when the explosive device went off near Saryam village, Nowshara, of Rajouri district on Saturday morning.

"Three civilians were killed and another injured when an explosive device went off in forest area near Saryam village at 9 a.m. today. Exact details of the incident at being verified", a senior police officer told IANS in winter capital Jammu.

The area is densely forested and close to the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu region.
