Three police officials killed in Afghan explosion

Three senior police officials were killed and one injured Monday in an explosion in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.

According to officials, the attack targetting a police vehicle occurred in the provincial capital of Jalalabad, Xinhua reported.

Shortly after the attack, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
