Guwahati, April 26 (IANS) The Government Railway Police (GRP) here registered a case against a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) Friday for allegedly misbehaving with two women on the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani express Thursday night, officials said.
The TTE, R.S. Chouhan, is absconding, they said.
"Two women and three children boarded the Rajdhani Express train at Mariani station Thursday night. They did not have tickets and contacted Chouhan, who put them in a first class compartment and told them that he would issue tickets on reaching Guwahati station," said a GRP official.
He added that the TTE entered the compartment at night and misbehaved with the women.
The women complained to GRP officials at Guwahati station. Chouhan managed to escape.
A case has been registered and a search is on to nab Chouhan, the officials said.
