Toonz ties up with Australian group for animation series

Toonz Media Group and Australian-based Yellow Entertainment, Monday announced a co-development and co-production partnership and global distribution deal for a preschool animated series.

Greg Page, co-founder of The Wiggles and President of Yellow Entertainment, will serve as Executive Producer, while P. Jayakumar, CEO, Toonz, and Alec Miller (VP Creative Development, Yellow Entertainment) will be producers.

Yellow Entertainment will handle pre-production, including IP creation, scripts, and music, while Toonz will lead all other aspects of production.

Jayakumar said that this is an exciting venture they are embarking on together which will bring enriching content for young audiences worldwide.

Headquartered in Technopark here, Toonz, through its state-of-the-art animation studio, has produced numerous successful kids and family entertainment brands through its global production partnerships with companies including Disney, Turner, Nickelodeon, Sony, Universal, BBC, and Paramount.
