City football club Torino signed Brazilian defender Carlos Roberto da Cruz Junior, known as Carlao, from Cypriot side Apoel.
Carlao, who turns 31 on January 19, was signed on Tuesday by Torino to replace Cesare Bovo, who signed for Pescara last week, reports Efe.
The defender began his career with Brazilian side Corinthians and was signed in 2008 by the French club Sochaux, where he spent six seasons and played 129 games.
Carlao left the French side in 2014, when the club descended to Ligue 2, and signed with Apoel in Cyprus.
