'Trapped' will surprise you: Hansal Mehta

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has praised Rajkummar Rao, saying the "Aligarh" actor's forthcoming film "Trapped" will surprise everyone.

"Proud of Rajkummar Rao and his absolutely stunning act in the very riveting 'Trapped'. The film will surprise you," Mehta tweeted on Friday night.

In the survival drama, Rajkummar plays a man who is trapped in his own house at a high-rise building with no escape. The actor had to follow a special diet for the the film, where he live on a carrot and coffee for 20 days.

Produced by Phantom Films and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, it is set to release on March 17.
