Trump's legal team spokesman resigns

The spokesman for US President Donald Trump's legal team has resigned within two months on the job, the media reported.

Mark Corallo had grown frustrated with the operation and the warring factions and lawyers, people familiar with the matter told Politico news on Thursday.

He also was concerned about whether he was being told the truth about various matters.

Corallo has been close to special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Russia investigation, and has praised him publicly.

The former spokesman had had told an associate that the dynamics in the White House were untenable and that there was "too much fighting all the time", Politico news reported.

Corallo had been a long-time crisis communications expert and had worked for John Ashcroft at the Justice Department in the George W. Bush administration.
