Two people were arrested here with marijuana, worth Rs.60,000, in another anti-narcotics raid ahead of the peak holiday season, police said Monday.
A police spokesperson identified as Benson Nazareth and Dinesh Salgaonkar, both residents of Saligao, a village located 15 kms from here.
"Both were arrested for possession of nearly Rs.60,000 worth of marijuana during the raid which was conducted by the anti narcotics cell," a police officer said.
Police had arrested one person last week for hoarding amphetamine worth Rs.2 million.
