Bodies of a woman and a man, both badly decomposed, were recovered from a canal here on Saturday, police said.
A senior police officer told IANS that two bodies were recovered from the canal in Kondli area near Ghazipur in east Delhi after the locals spotted them.
The woman was identified as Sunita Devi, 46, a resident of Khoda colony in east Delhi. The woman, who was suffering from TB, went missing on June 11 and a complaint was lodged by her relatives on June 14.
The man, who seemed to be between the age of 35 to 40, could not be identified.
Both the bodies were sent for autopsy and a case was registered.
