Rome, Aug 4 (IANS/AKI) Rescuers found the bodies of two 13-year-old boys at the bottom of a mountain precipice in northern Italian Trentino region after they vanished on Wednesday.
Fabio Battocchi and his friend Federico Bugna are believed to have died instantly when they fell down the precipice in Val Daone in the Italian Alps when they set off together on an excursion to take photos.
Battocchi's grandparents searched for the boys then raised the alarm after they failed to return for supper at the family's mountain chalet where the boys were vacationing.
Battocchi was a keen ski mountaineer and knew the area well. Both boys were natives of Trentino.
