Two policemen were arrested on Friday afternoon for stealing 1,300 kg sandalwood from a private godown in Delhi, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Milind Mahadeo Dumbere identified the policemen as Sub-Inspector Anuj and Constable Manoharlal of Delhi Police.
The policemen stole sandalwood from a private godown in Swarup Nagar Extension of northwest Delhi on Tuesday night, police said.
They had some accomplices with them, who are yet to be tracked down.
