Moscow, Sep 23 (IANS/ITAR -TASS) An apparent suicide car bombing near a police station at Khuchni in southern Russia's Dagestan killed a police officer and a Federal Migration Service employee Monday.
"An investigation is being carried out to discover the identity of the bomber and detecting criminals behind the attack," a spokesman of Dagestan's interior ministry told ITAR-TASS.
"A car with a terrorist was moving near a local police precinct then sharply turned towards it and exploded. It did not drive into the territory of the police precinct but exploded near a two-storey building under construction," he added.
Six other people were hurt in the blast, one of them critically. Civilians were among those injured.
