Two more doctors have been arrested here for alleged involvement in the inter-state child trafficking case, a senior CID official said on Wednesday.
Dilip Kumar Ghosh, a BJP candidate in Salt Lake municipal election in 2015, was arrested along with another doctor, Nityananda Biswas, on Tuesday night.
Ghosh was allegedly associated with the College Street-based Sri Krishna Nursing Home, which has been linked to child trafficking.
The BJP has sacked the doctor from the party.
A number of doctors, hospital owners, nurses and attendants have been arrested over the past 10 days since the racket came to light.
