Two tourists were killed and 26 were rescued Saturday when a raft capsized in South China.
A raft overturned early Saturday in the Lijiang river in Yangshuo County in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a renowned resort with natural views of the river and mountains, said the press office of the county government.
Twenty seven tourists and one rower were aboard the raft when the accident occurred, Xinhua reported.
Local government authorities sent rescuers soon after the accident and saved 26 people.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
