Abu Dhabi, April 15 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) participated in the Gulf Cooperation Council-European Union (GCC-EU) political dialogue held in Belgium's capital Brussels.
The UAE was represented during the meeting on Thursday by Ahmed Ali Al Balooshi, director of the GCC at the foreign affairs ministry and, and Sulaiman Hamed Al Mazroeui, head of the UAE Mission to the EU and Non-Resident Ambassador to Luxembourg.
The two sides discussed progress in GCC-EU relations and ways to enhance them, as well as issues of common interest.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
The two groups noted the identical views on political positions and expressed their keenness to further ties between the EU and GCC.
