Kiev, Oct 25 (IANS/TASS) A day of silence is being observed in Ukraine Saturday ahead of the parliamentary election scheduled to be held Sunday.
The outcome of the vote will determine the composition of both parliament and the government.
An opinion poll conducted three days before the election has said that up to 30 percent of voters are still unsure on their choice.
Under Ukrainian law, any campaigning is prohibited the day before the elections, including electoral advertising on TV, public debates, meetings with supporters and posting campaign materials in public places.
Ukraine's Central Election Commission has registered 2,321 foreign observers, including 19 from Russia who will participate with the Organization for Security and Co-operation to monitor the poll.
A total of 4 million people would be casting their votes.
