TV host Chelsea Handler's talk show is coming to an end.
She confirmed in March that she intended to leave "Chelsea Lately" at the end of her contract. The 39-year-old will depart channel E!, three months before her current agreement comes to an end and is delighted with the work she did for the network, reports contactmusic.com.
"I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years. I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went," said Handler.
Suzanne Kolb, President of E!, praised the star for adding a distinct voice to late night show with her acerbic wit and fearless commentary.
Until the station develops a possible replacement show, it will air on E!, in the 11 p.m. slot.
