Valencia chief says club faced many challenges in transfer market

Valencia CF's Singaporean president Lay Hoon Chan has said that it has been a "very difficult" summer because of the challenges that the Spanish football club has faced in the transfer market.

She on Friday added that she knew there was a lot of tension but luckily the club was able to finish all operations before the close, adding that she is very happy to be presenting Eliakim Mangala and Ezequiel Garay, reports Efe.

Valencia announced the signing of Garay, 29, and Mangala, 25, on Wednesday, the last day of the summer transfer market.
