Varane rejoins Real Madrid group training ahead of derby

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane rejoined the team's group training on Friday before the derby against Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu here.

Varane resumed the team training after working out in the gym during Thursday's session, reported Efe.

Meanwhile, Nacho Fernandez, who was injured in the Blancos' 3-0 league win against Las Palmas, is still recovering from his right thigh injury, the club reported.

Coach Zinedine Zidane is scheduled to lead on Saturday the final training session before the Atletico clash.
