Aiming to popularise the concept of yoga for wellness, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate a two-day international conference here on Tuesday.
With the theme "Yoga for Wellness", the areas of discussion will be yoga research in non-communicable diseases, scope of yoga in integrated medicine and control of cancer, depression and gynecological disorders among others.
Twenty-five national and international experts will be the speakers at the event to be attended by over 500 delegates.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik will preside over the inaugural function.
Secretary (AYUSH) C.K. Mishra, Special Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha and yoga gurus of international repute will also be present.
