Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) head coach Antonio Lopez Habas heaped praise on his players after their breathtaking performance outclassed hosts Mumbai City FC 4-1 in an Indian Super League (ISL) match here on Sunday.
"It was a fantastic performance. I can term it as a tactically and disciplined show by the boys. I am very pleased with them," Habas said at the post match press conference here.
"After losing a couple of matches this match was an important one. Each and every player played their best game today," he said.
The coach specially lauded the performance of Canadian striker Iain Hume, who scored a brilliant hat-trick in the 34th, 45+1, 81st minuteand alongside Augustin Fernandes's 76th minute goal steered the away side to their third victory of the season at the D.Y. Patil Stadium here. Selim Benachour was the only scorer for the home side.
"Hume was a bomb today. He is a great player. He displayed his sheer class today," Habas said.
With this win, Atletico moved from sixth position to fifth, with 10 points from seven games, having won three, drawn one and lost three.
Kolkata next take on NorthEast United FC on November 7 at home.
