Vettel tops first practice

Two-time winner of the Indian Grand Prix Sebastian Vettel expectedly topped the first practice session at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) here Friday.

The Red Bull driver's best was one minute and 26.683 seconds out of the 24 times he lapped the track and was followed closely by teammate Mark Webber, only 0.188 seconds behind.

Mercedes' Nico Rosberg was third in 1:26.899.

Force India's Paul di Resta was the only driver to be replaced by James Calado in the first practice session.
