The VHP, launched on Janmashtami in 1964, announced Monday it will begin year-long golden jubilee celebrations Aug 17.
"All 150 VHP units in Delhi will take out 'shobha yatras'," Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state chief Rikhab Chand Jain told the media.
The VHP will organise a "Virat Hindu Sammelan" Feb 22 next year in Delhi, he said.
Another member, Karuna Prasad, said more processions and "sammelans" will be held in other cities of the country to mark the celebrations.
"Virat Hindu Sammelan will also be organised in Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bhopal to attract more people towards the VHP. It will help to strengthen the organisation," he said.
Member of its youth wing, Bajrang Dal, will donate one lakh units of blood Nov 2.
The celebrations will conclude in the 2015 Nashik Kumbh Mela.
