Tamil superstar Vijay, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil fantasy drama "Puli", surprised an ailing ardent fan Archana by visiting her residence last week.
Archana suffers from speech impediment and has been restricted to a chair for the last five years due to a rare disease.
"When Vijay sir came to know about Archana and her wish to meet him, he immediately made arrangements to meet her. It was on Archana's birthday last Thursday (Jan 1) that he paid her a surprise visit. She was extremely happy to meet him," a source close to Vijay told IANS.
Vijay spent a few hours with Archana, and even clicked photographs with her and her family.
