Russian football club Zenit St. Petersburg's head coach Andre Villas-Boas will remain in his post until the end of the current season, his agent Carlos Goncalves has said ruling out an early departure.
Goncalves said on Monday that Villas-Boas, whose contract with the club expires this June, expressed a firm intention of fulfilling all provisions stipulated by his contract and would work with the club until the season was over, reports Tass.
Goncalves also said the Portuguese coach would be considering other possible proposals concerning his future only after his contract had officially expired and he was currently focused only on Zenit St. Peterburg FC.
The Portuguese manager took over Zenit in March 2014. In May 2015, Zenit won the Russian championship under Villas-Boas.
