Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra has called an all-party meeting here on Friday to discuss the security situation in the state, officials said here on Thursday.
The officials said for the all-party meeting, called in the wake of imposition of the Governor's rule, invitations have been sent to heads of state units of national political parties.
After assuming the reins of administration in the state, this will be Vohra's first interaction with politicians of mainstream political parties.
Following the withdrawal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP ruling coalition, the state was put under the Governor's rule under Article 92 of the state constitution.
