The national capital saw a warm Friday with the maximum temperature at 37.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Saturday with light rains in some parts of the city.
"Saturday will be cloudy and some parts of the city may receive light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature Friday settled at 28.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while humidity wavered between a low of 53 percent and high of 85 percent.
Thursday saw light rainfall in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 36.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled two notches above season's average at 28.2 degrees Celsius.
