Warm Monday in Delhi, rain likely Tuesday

It was a warm day in the capital Monday with the maximum temperature two notches above average at 36 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast very light rain Tuesday.

"The sky will be generally cloudy and very light rains are expected on Tuesday," said an official of India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

On Monday, the minimum temperature was 26.4 degrees or a notch above the season's average, while the humidity wavered between a high of 87 percent and low of 59 percent.
