The national capital experienced a clear, warm weekend with the maximum temperature Sunday recorded 33.3 degree Celsius, four notches below the season's average. Monday is expected to be cloudy but as warm.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 degrees and 19 degree Celsius.
"Skies will be mainly clear in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature Sunday settled at 19.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled six notches below the season's average at 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 18 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
