The national capital saw a warm Thursday with the maximum temperature recorded at 41 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Friday.
"The skies will be clear in the morning but will turn partly cloudy noon onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Friday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 41 degrees and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday's minimum temperature settled at 30 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
Wednesday was warm with a maximum of 40.5 degrees Celsius, five notches above average, while the minimum settled two notches above the season's average at 29.6 degrees Celsius.
