Actor Shia LaBeouf says he hit Brad Pitt on the set of their forthcoming movie "Fury", but it helped them to bond.
The movie, set during World War II, is about a five-member crew on a mission. Pitt leads the pack.
In an interview to host Jimmy Kimmel, LaBeouf admitted that Pitt 'got hit' as he and his co-stars were all "vying for his attention" and wanted to prove themselves, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"None of us wanted to be the guy to hit him really hard. It's Brad Pitt, he's a hero. Being around him... we called him 'Top' the whole time, because he was 'Top Dog'," he said, and added that they almost indulged in fistfighting everyday.
"It worked, it bonded us, fighting between a group of boys is really intimate. We love each other," LaBeouf said.
