Film distributors Roadside Attractions and Godspeed Pictures have announced that they will release their inspirational drama film "Where Hope Grows" May 15.
The film won the Heartland Film Festival Audience Choice Award last year.
Actor Kristoffer Polaha stars as a former professional baseball player sent to an early retirement due to panic attacks. He struggles with the challenge of raising his teenage daughter but finds himself invigorated by a young man with Down syndrome (played by David De Santis) who works at the local grocery store.
Directed by Chris Dowling, the film also stars Billy Zabka, Brooke Burns, McKaley Miller, Alan Powell and Danica McKellar.
"Where Hope Grows" has over 200,000 Likes on its Facebook page. It will release alongside "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "Pitch Perfect 2".
