Pop star Jessie J has said that late singer Whitney Houston has been the biggest influence on her career.
Jessie says that she always returns to Houston's catalogue of hits when she needs inspiration, reports contactmusic.com.
Paying tribute to the star, who died in 2012, Jessie said on-stage at London's Eventim Apollo: "No other artist made me feel like she did. I sang this song on my first audition ever. This is to remind myself that I can sing."
Jessie also performed some of her own hits, including "Domino" and "Do It Like A Dude", as well as Houston's "I Have Nothing".
More recent tracks, including "Keep Us Together" and "Burnin' Up" from Jessie's latest album "Sweet Talker", were also performed.
