Delhi's ruling AAP on Monday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not declaring Kerala's devastating floods a national calamity.

"Why the delay in declaring Kerala floods a national calamity? People are suffering and you are being indecisive?" the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) tweeted on its official Twitter handle.

Hundreds have died and thousands have been displaced following the worst floods to ravage Kerala since 1924.
