Video jockey Andy, who attracted eyeballs with his quirky antics and one-liners in reality show "Bigg Boss - Saath7", will be seen hosting the ongoing season of "India's Got Talent 5". He says he will try to bring in his "own brand of humour" to the talent-based reality show.
"I will try to bring in my own brand of humour to the show and I'll be myself," Andy told IANS over the phone from Mumbai.
The anchor, who has replaced popular radio jockey Mantra on the show, will be hosting the show along with comedian Bharti Singh. He believes he gels well with her.
"Bharti also comes from a Punjabi background and we share the same Punjabi humour. We work together quite well," he said.
In the past, Andy has hosted television show "Dare 2 Date" and said that performing in front of a live audience has always been special for him.
"Performing in front of a live audience has a different buzz altogether. You cannot replace that beautiful energy. It feels amazing and there is instant gratification," he said.
Talking about the talent which is showcased in the show, Andy said: "I am getting to see the cream of the contestants as I am joining towards the end. Some people are so talented. I feel that India has been represented well in the show."
Andy also said that he always wanted to be a part of such a show.
"India's Got Talent 5" airs on Colors and it is judged by Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora Khan and Karan Johar.
