Olympic silver medallist and event defending champion Nick Willis from New Zealand won the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) men's Invitational Mile event.
Willis beat 2012 Olympic 1,500m silver medallist Leo Manzano, Irish champion Paul Robinson and British champion Chris O'Hare to win the gold medal here Saturday, reports Xinhua.
World Championships steeplechaser De'Sean Turner took an early lead after the start but Willis managed to fight back in the second lap, taking the title and a $3000 check after breaking the tape with 4:11.3.
Robinson finished second with 4:12.0 while Manzano edged O'Hare for the third position with a timing of 4:13.3.
