The massively expanded third edition of Wimbledon: The Official History by John Barrett is up for sale.
The book is available on Wimbledon's official website as well as on www.visionsp.co.uk, www.amazon.co.uk and www.amazon.com.
Barret, the 2006 recipient of the Ron Bookman Media Excellence Award, has brought the story of The Championships right up to date in the illustrated book which traces Wimbledon's history from its beginnings in 1877 through to the All England Club's growth and evolving relationship with the Lawn Tennis Association, which was founded in 1888.
The new edition also reflects on some of the outstanding battles, includes profiles of every singles champion and the success of Andy Murray and Serena Williams at the 2012 London Olympics.
Barrett, a former player and television commentator, has also edited Wimbledon: The Singles Draws 1877-2012.
