The mixed doubles pairs of Achanta Sharath Kamal and Shamini Kumaresan and that of Anthony Amalraj and Madhurika Patkar won their respective third mixed doubles matches in the table tennis competition of the 2014 Commonwealth Games at the Scoutstoun Campus here Wednesday.
Sharath and Shamini won 11-5, 11-8, 11-8 against Malaysia's Chee Feng Leong and Ying Ho while Amalraj and Madhurika won 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4 against Trinidad and Tobago's Dexter St Louis and Rheann Chung.

Mixed doubles third round: Soumyajit Ghosh and Poulomi lost 11-9, 10-12, 11-8, 1-11, 8-11 to England's Karina le Fevre and Sam Walker; Sanil and Manika lost 6-11, 10-12, 8-11 to New Zealand's Tend Teng Liu and Karen Li; Sharath and Shamini won 11-5, 11-8, 11-8 against Malaysia's Chee Feng Leong and Ying Ho; Amalraj and Patkar won 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4 against Dexter St Louis and Rheann Chung
Women's singles second round: Manika Batra won 11-5, 11-3, 11-6, 11-6 against Annie Yang of New Zealand; Shamini won 11-3, 6-11, 11-4, 9-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-7 against Nigeria's Ganiat Ogundele
