Rapper Wiz Khalifa cancelled his concert in Chula Vista, California, after a man was shot and killed at his gig near San Jose.
The victim died Saturday morning.
The rapper was due to take his 'Under The Influence Of Music' tour to the Sleep Train Amphitheatre Saturday only, reports dailymail.co.uk.
But Live Nation, which owns and operates the venue, released a statement on Saturday, saying: "Due to an active investigation at the Shoreline Amphitheatre stemming from an incident after last night's (Friday) performance, tonight's show in Chula Vista, California, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled."
Khalifa posted two tweets on Saturday afternoon, calling the killing a "senseless tragedy" and added: "Violence is never the answer. My prayers go out to the victim's family."
On Friday, the rapper was performing at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View when shots began just after 11 p.m.
The local police later shared that they rushed to the scene after receiving multiple reports about the incident around that time.
An unidentified 38-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital, according to police spokeswoman Shino Tanaka.
