Woman jumps from foot overbridge in Delhi, dies

A young woman committed suicide in the early hours of Friday by jumping off a foot overbridge in south Delhi, police said.

Passers-by saw the unidentified woman, in her mid-20s, jump off the overbridge near Sarita Vihar Metro station around 4.15 a.m. and called police.

She died on the spot.

Police is trying to identify the woman. No suicide note was found from her possession.
