A 28-year-old woman and her three minor daughters were on Wednesday found dead at their house in Haryana's Faridabad district, police said.
The bodies of Annu and daughters Kusumlata (6), Jyoti (4) and Vinita (about 2) were found dead in Santnagar area. Police believe Annu poisoned her daughters before killing herself.
"Poisonous powder and a plate of chowmein were found near the bodies, Assistant Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar told IANS. Annu, who hailed from Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, married Sanjay in 2009.
Sanjay, who was a taxi driver, allegedly committed suicide about six months back.
Annu's mother Shanti and elder sister Gudiya alleged that the deceased's in-laws used to taunt her after the death of her husband.
After her husband died, Annu worked as a domestic help in a few houses in Sector 16. Her daughters studied in a school on Tigaon Road.
