Women love to beautify their locks and a new survey reveals that the average woman will spend 228.50 pounds each year on getting their hair coloured.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, a woman between the age of 22 and 65 can spend almost 9,825 pounds on hair colour in a lifetime.
"The hair and beauty industry continues to boom and it is amazing to see that hair colour is a 10,000 pound investment over a lifetime," said Jonathan Long, colour advisor of hair brand nice 'n easy.
"Looking good, however, goes hand in hand with feeling good, so it's no wonder women look after their locks," he added.
