Wushu tourney to start in Delhi from Thursday

More than 700 players will take part in the 15th Delhi State Wushu Championships, starting on Thursday at the Thayagraj sports complex here.

Apart from some reputed clubs from all over the capital, the Central Reserve Police Force, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, the Air Force, the Sashastra Seema Bal and the Sports Authority of India will also take part in the two-day event.

The championships will be inaugurated by Delhi Olympic Association president Kuldeep Vats, while Olympian Paramjeet Singh will be the guest of honour.
