UEFA has confirmed that former Spain and Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez will on Sunday present the European football championship trophy to the winner of the match between Portugal and France.
Xavi, the midfielder who played 133 international matches before leaving the Spanish team, was part of the team that won Euro 2008, the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012, reports Efe.
While Portugal beat Wales 2-0 in the first semi-final on Wednesday, France stunned Germany by the same margin in the second encounter on Thursday.
Portugal and France will meet on Sunday in the Stade de France in Saint Denis.
