Actor Zac Efron will produce and is likely to star in a film loosely based on author John LeFevres book "Straight to Hell...".

"Straight to Hell: True Tales of Deviance, Debauchery, and Billion-Dollar Deals", which was published in July 2015, offers readers a dark yet humorous account of his life as a high-profile investment banker.

According to sources, the film is still in early development, reports variety.com.

John M. Phillips will write the script. Efron will produce through his Ninjas Runnin' Wild banner.

The actor will next be seen in "Baywatch", featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.
